Help Line VolunteersEvery year thousands of adults and adolescents contact the Community Help Service (CHS) in need of our help. The HELP LINE provides an anonymous and confidential, crisis, support and information service to the English-Speaking community. We are looking for volunteers who are: - Good listeners No previous experience necessary. Following the interview process, comprehensive training and professional supervision are provided. For more information please call us on 02/647 6780 or email us. Please do not mention your application to anyone but those closest to you, as confidentiality and anonymity are essential. Bookshop VolunteersA love of books (and now DVDs and videos) and a few spare hours a week are all that are needed! Office VolunteersA minimum commitment of 2 days per week is ideal. A wish to become part of a small team, involved in many aspects of the organisation, knowledge of office systems and a friendly, sympathetic approach to work are pre-requisites.
