Corona Virus/COVID-19 Update

The Community Help Service is following the advice of Belgian authorities and the World Health Organisation to ensure the safety of our clients, volunteers and staff.

We continue to encourage our staff, volunteers and clients to telecommute as much as possible with as little impact on our services as we can manage.

The CHS Helpline will remain open 24/7. Call 02 648 40 14 anytime for information, support or someone to talk to.

The CHS Mental Health Services Centre will remain open with CHS psychotherapists and psychiatrists offering online and telephone appointments.

To make an appointment, you can call the centre on 02 647 67 80 (10h00-16h00 weekdays) or send an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. You will be recontacted with an appointment offer after our weekly online staff meeting.

Anyone in a high-risk group is strongly advised to request an online/telephone appointment.

The following rules apply to visitors to our Centre:

  • Clients are required to wear a mask at all times while visiting the Centre and to sanitise their hands upon entry.
  • Clients should arrive as close to their appointment as possible and will be greeted at the door by their therapist. The waiting room is not in use.
  • Any person experiencing flu symptoms or respiratory complaints should not attend their appointment.

These guidelines may change as the situation in Belgium evolves. We will keep you up-to-date via our website and social media channels.
