To mark its 45th anniversary year, the Community Help Service held a conference on the topical subject of burnout – a state of mental and physical exhaustion induced by stress. (Click here to view the Conference Programme). The conference was designed to be directly helpful to those managing stress reduction in the workplace, whether from a human resource, therapeutic or personal standpoint. The focus of discussions was on identifying best practices for preventing and/or treating burnout. Special emphasis was placed on the expat community.
