Community Help Service (CHS) is offering a limited number of early places for this year’s 20 km de Bruxelles on 31 May, giving supporters the chance to run for a cause and secure their spot before individual registrations officially open on 1 April.

By joining the CHS and Darkness into Light team, participants can guarantee their place in one of Brussels’ most popular running events while helping support the vital work of the CHS Helpline. Team members will have their €35 race registration fee covered, receive a CHS T-shirt, and run alongside a community united in raising awareness and supporting those in crisis.

In return, runners are asked to make a donation towards the operational costs of the CHS Helpline. While there is no fixed minimum, we encourage participants to raise donations of – or donate themselves – around €100.

The CHS Helpline operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at +32 (0)2 648 40 14, offering confidential support to people who are struggling, including those experiencing suicidal thoughts. Every kilometre run helps keep this lifeline available for those who need it most.

To request an early place on the CHS team, email John Chalmers at john.chalmers@chsbelgium.org

CHS will also once again partner with Darkness into Light this year for the dawn walk in Brussels, taking place three weeks before the race to raise awareness and help prevent suicide.
